Site profile. Almeria is located on the south east coast of Spain. The site chosen by ECASA is a highly dispersive site, in deep water 50 - 100m deep with strong currents. The cultivated species is tuna and the farm has an annual production of 500 tonnes. The tuna are reared in 90m cages. |
